Brand new, eclectic, eco-friendly Dancing Iguana Studios are located in a quiet residential area 15 min walk to the world-famous Eagle Beach and a huge Superfood market, cafés and dining.

Studio has a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a private veranda. The unique outside communal lounge area with kitchenette, fridge, microwave and BBQ. Complimentary morning Nespresso and tea.

Beach towels, beach chairs and snorkels are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Hosts are available 24/7 when on the island.

During your stay

Since we live in the adjacent half of the house, we are available most of the time. Please text us for advice or suggestion should you need anything.

We came to Aruba just like you, as tourists. And … we fell in love with the island, the people, the weather and the sea. We now take pleasure to advise you regarding the things to do, places to see – from beaches and snorkeling to water sports to the vibrant art scene and to local and international dining and the nightlife. All of these are subject to Covid-19 safety rules and practices.

Green Iguana is ideal for digital nomads since it has a full size writing desk and a fast Wi-Fi

Getting around

Although we walk a lot and swim a lot we use a car. Aruba could be hot in the mid-day and then a car is essential.

Based on what our guests tell us, to get the most out of your vacation, we recommend renting a car. We can point you to some lovely, secluded beaches, great snorkeling and other water activities, wind surfing and kiting and some outstanding photography spots.

Availability

Danilo was a great host, he was super attentive and helped us out with everything we needed from beach essentials to ordering taxis and storing our suitcases after check out. The room was very comfortable and looks exactly as pictured. The walk to Eagle beach was 10-15 minutes but getting around with taxis is also cheap as their prices are regulated by the government and you can get anywhere on the west side of the island for $10-15 and to the airport for $31. Would definitely recommend trying the restaurant Madame Janette nearby, it was our favorite restaurant on the island.

I loved this place; it was comfortable and clean, within walking distance of the beach without the noise and crowds. I felt very safe traveling on my own and walking to and from the beach and the grocery store (which is even closer and has great treats, including freshly made stroopwafels!). The parking was convenient. Danilo was communicative and friendly; he made sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed, while also respecting my space and time on my own. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the dancing iguana! Danilo was very friendly when we arrived, we extended our stay with no issue, the unit was clean and super cute. The location was great too, a 10 minute walk from the beach, close to the large grocery store and in a very safe neighbourhood! We’d love to stay here again, highly recommend it to all!

Danilo was an exceptional host. We talked before our stay and he made suggestions and checked in on our travel details. He met us at the door and greeted us, showed us the place, and answered all of our questions. Throughout the week when I had questions he would respond within 10 mins. We enjoyed getting to know him while we relaxed in his outdoor patio. Super friendly guy hosting a very clean place within walking distance to eagle beach and the super market. Whenever I go back I will be staying in this location again!!

We love this place! The space is beautiful, clean, very cozy and well decorated. We were also on a workcation and the wifi is strong . You can also work outside where there is a bench and table. There’s also a cute outdoors communal kitchen. It’s located in a really cute and peaceful neighborhood. We literally walked everywhere. The huge super foods grocery store is only a few minutes walk. And from there, you can walk to the beach within in a few minutes as well. It’s perfectly located for us. Also, the host Danilo is a superstar of all Airbnb hosts that we ever had. Such a kind, funny and helpful guy and made us feel super comfortable. You will not be disappointed here. We liked it so much, we came back to stay here again :)
